Our Motivation

Inspired by Physicians

At EpiDisease, we are not only pioneers in the development of in vitro diagnostics (IVDs), but also advocates for clinical specialists who treat patients with complex conditions.
We conduct pioneering scientific research that paves the way for the development of practical tools applied to IVD, placing their needs, input, and feedback at the core of our collaborative Design Thinking methodology. Our commitment to improving healthcare outcomes includes all stakeholders across the ecosystem vertical and is the foundation of everything we do.

Inspired by Patients

In our IVD tool development company, we are inspired by the most vital source: the patients themselves. Every day, their courage and resilience in the face of their condition motivate us to push the boundaries of innovation.
We understand that behind every test result is a life waiting for answers, and we are committed to developing cutting-edge diagnostic tools that enable healthcare professionals to deliver timely and accurate care. Patients’ stories remind us of the real impact our work can have and drive us to create solutions that truly make a difference in their lives. Together with the patients we serve, we strive to redefine the future of healthcare.
Information and Support for Patients with Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis
ADECYL was founded in 2004 with the goal of becoming a central force for action to support affected individuals and raise awareness of the condition among all stakeholders. The association is officially recognized as being of public interest and is currently the only one in Spain offering specialized physiotherapy services for scoliosis.
“Once the diagnosis of scoliosis is confirmed, a turning point arises for families, as in many cases the questions and future treatment options are not usually explained in detail, leading to uncertainty and confusion for the children and their families.”
That is why at ADECYL we believe it is essential to provide families with accurate and up-to-date information, as they often come to us without a clear understanding of what scoliosis entails. Knowing the stage the patient is in, understanding the natural history of scoliosis, and resolving doubts are key to effective monitoring and more accurate decision-making.
We present to you our latest lines of research and action.
