Dr. Rosa M Egea-Gámez will be presenting our work on an online SaMD AI-based tool for the fully automatic and robust Cobb angle measurement from standard DICOM or png images .
Our team is dedicated to the scientific development of cutting-edge in vitro diagnostic (IVD) tools and solutions that combine genetics, epigenetics and AI to manage adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, and improve the lives of millions of people around the world every day.

Our porfolio of tools for the precision management of AIS
ScoliGEN is a minimally invasive genetic test carried performed on a sample of saliva that can indicate with a high degree of sensitivity which patients are at high risk of developing moderate or severe AIS (Sn 90%, Sp 39%, NPV 82%, PPV 56%).
ScoliGEN is currently commercially available for patients within the EU.
ScoliMIR is an epigenetic test carried out on a blood sample that allows the diagnosis of AIS with a high degree of sensitivity and specificity (Sn 78%, Sp79%), and with high confidence in a positive result (PPV 93%, NPV 25%).
ScoliMIR is currently undergoing regulatory review, and is expected to be commercially available for patients within the EU in 4Q2024.
ScoliVIEW is a web-based tool that allows the automatic measurement of the Cobb angle of images in DICOM and PNG format, avoiding the documented intra- and inter-observer variation of between 4° – 8° of manual measurements.
ScoliVIEW is undergoing regulatory review for its use as a diagnostic tool and is currently available for Research Use Only.
If you are interested in arranging a demo of ScoliVIEW during the SRS Congress, and discussing how it can help to improve your accuracy and efficiency in the measurement of Cobb angles please contact:

We are continually gathering data regarding the mangement of AIS in Europe and abroad in order to guide us in the development of tools that physicians caring for these children really need.
If you would like to contribute to this data please take 5 minutes to fill in one of the short surveys below.
